Securing the quality of the cold chain
is critical for all those involved in
maintaining the supply of temperature
sensitive products from source to destination.
But with growing environmental constraints,
evolving food safety regimes and transport
shortages, can cold chain quality be maintained
at a reasonable cost? This conference
investigates all aspects of the temperature
controlled supply chain, emerging technologies
and best practice in an attempt to find
the answer.

One of the most demanding and exhilarating
mountain events organised as a charity challenge
and the ultimate team building experience.
In the beautiful surroundings of the Lake
District you will be climbing 24 peaks, all
over 2,400 feet in, just 24 hours. In addition
to the physical challenge, we will be asking
each team to raise at least £5,000 which will
be used to provide essential support to those
in need within the maritime community.

This advanced two day module focuses on modelling
freight rate dynamics and pricing options on freight.
It discusses issues which are relevant to shipping
market practitioners such as constructing forward
curves on freight, modelling freight rate volatility
as well as hedging and trading strategies using
freight options. The course aims to provide delegates
with both a theoretical foundation as well as
practical hands-on experience.
