In addition to the high data speeds unlocked for owners and operators, Inmarsat’s maritime digitalisation initiative has already yielded Fleet Secure Unified Threat Management for cybersecurity and Fleet Data, the maritime IoT platform, that extracts the data from onboard sensors and uploads it to a secure central cloud-based database, for easy access with no additional airtime cost.
