The UK Chamber of Shipping is the trade association and voice of the UK shipping industry. It works to unite, promote and champion an environment for shipping in the UK to thrive, helping to deliver a greener world and a more prosperous nation. It is open to shipping companies of all sizes, sectors and flags.
The Chamber aims to:
- offer expert advice and facilitate the sharing of good practice
- influence policy development at UK and international level
- promote shipping’s relevance as the collective voice of the industry
- horizon-scan for emerging trends, issues and opportunities
- offer seafarer training and education through the Merchant Navy Training Board
- provide the forum for industry decision-making, and
- bring members together for networking & development.
