AqualisBraemar LOC competing in Race The Thames for charity

Posted on: 24 March 2021

A year since the UK first went into a national lockdown, AqualisBraemar LOC employees from around the country have been competing since the start of the week in the Race the Thames challenge to raise awareness and funds for two chosen charities  – London Youth Rowing and The Mission to Seafarers.

We all know of the devastating financial toll the pandemic has taken on charities when their work is more important than ever. For that reason, we are really excited to come together as one team to raise as much money as possible for our two charities, and we would love your support!

Since Monday, March 22, 56 UK-based staff have been walking, running, swimming, cycling or rowing to cover in teams of eight the length of the Tidal Thames (72km) or the full Thames length (346km) by the end of the challenge on 29th March.

All donations will be split equally between the two causes and will go directly to the charities to be put to immediate good use.

Any donations are welcome – use this ‘Donate’ link. Your funds will really make a difference! Thank you!
