LR issues IMO Assembly Summary Report

Lloyd’s Register (LR) has issued the Summary Report for the 32nd session of the IMO Assembly (A 32), which was held remotely 6-15 December 2021.

The briefing summarises resolutions and outcomes adopted at A32 that are relevant to the work of LR,

  • Assembly Resolution on Procedures for port State control, 2021.
  • Assembly Resolution on Survey Guidelines under the Harmonized System of Survey and Certification (HSSC), 2021.
  • Assembly Resolution on 2021 non-exhaustive list of obligations under instruments relevant to the IMO
  • Instruments Implementation Code.
  • Assembly Resolution on Comprehensive action required to address seafarers’ challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic.
