Mark Jackson has been a Director of Maritime London since December 2017. He started his shipping career as an apprentice in 1981 in Sydney, Australia and after 18 years working as a shipbroker in Sydney, Hong Kong, New York and London, he joined A.M. Commenting on the appointments Harry Theochari, Chair of Maritime London, said: “I am delighted that Lord Mountevans has agreed to accept the position of Honorary President of Maritime London. The Directors of Maritime London established this role to recognise an individual who has provided exceptional service to Maritime London. I can think of no one who in recent times has provided more exceptional service, not just to Maritime London but to the entire UK Maritime Industry, than Lord Mountevans.”
