Pole Star is marking 2020 with the launch of its new branding and website, reflecting its evolution from the first company to track vessels into a leading maritime data provider facilitating decision-making across the large and diverse maritime framework.
The new brand encompasses Pole Star’s ethos of advancing technologies for a safer, more secure world, with data and technology at the core of all the company’s acitivies. The changes to look out for include a top-to-bottom redesign of the company’s website, logo, graphics, and communications. The new logo and artwork showcase a modern, technology-driven style that represents the range of solutions we provide our customers with.
“Our new branding and website marks the start of a new chapter for Pole Star”, says Julian Longson, Managing Director. “We have shifted from our origins as a vessel tracking provider, and are now a leading maritime technology provider to financial institutions, governments, shipping companies, and other members of the maritime trade supply chain.”
Pole Star develops pioneering technologies, empowering maritime insight to inform real-world decisions. Movement across our oceans is critical to the global economy, impacting all of us, every day. Pole Star works with governments and businesses across the supply chain, playing an essential part in creating a transparent, secure, and compliant operating environment. Since 1998, Pole Star has worked to mitigate the growing threats to ships, supply chains, cargo, territorial waters and, most importantly, lives within the maritime infrastructure and beyond. Today, Pole Star continues to develop new ways of turning complex data into accessible insight across regulatory conformance, sanctions screening, trade compliance, tracking, monitoring, and ship security.
